“Lucifer might be the leader of evil, but Medard Lubega Sseggona is the leader of NUP and the revolution enemies,” Walukagga said, remarks that drew mixed reactions from the audience.

Walukagga alleged that the area MP undermined his standing, although no evidence was presented to substantiate the claims.

Despite the grievances, he reiterated his commitment to the National Unity Platform and urged supporters to rally behind Magoola as the official candidate in Busiro East.

Emmanuel Magoola, introduced as the NUP-leaning candidate, thanked the party for the trust placed in him and called for unity among supporters as the party prepares for the upcoming elections.
